Let’s talk about my top 3 social media schedulers for agencies in 2021.

In many ways, the work of a social media marketer is easy if they find the right tools.

At minimum you need:

Today, I’m going to talk about social media scheduling tools – and how to find the best tool for your agency.

Are you looking for the best social media scheduler?

Trust me, with so many options out there it’s not easy to decide.

I have been searching for the best social media scheduler for over 3 years (and spent hundreds of $$) on paid scheduling tools.

In my research, I’ve discovered some amazing schedulers that I cannot wait to share with you.

In this post, I’m going to share my top 3 social media schedulers for managing social accounts for marketers and agencies.

Why social media schedulers are a must for marketers and agencies?

Anyone running a business for profit knows that cost is an important factor when deciding to adopt business software. Social media tools are not excluded.

If you manage a single platform you may be able to do it using the native app scheduling features.

But as you expand to cover multiple clients, different social channels, and posting multiple times a day – it’s impossible to do it without having a good scheduling tool.

There is no excuse for not investing in a social media scheduling tool:

  • save time planning monthly content
  • schedule posts in advance
  • autoposting at best times
  • track post analytics
  • manage all clients in a single platform
  • extract data and generate reports

You get it.

When you’re scheduling posts for multiple accounts and platforms, that’s when your job gets more complex.

Scheduling tools make your life much easier and help you scale your business.

The more time you can save, the more clients you can sign up!

Best Social Media Schedulers for Marketers and Agencies

Pallyy – Social Media Toolkit for Agencies

The main reason I like Pallyy is that it helps me multi-task by having all the tools into one platform: scheduling, calendar, analytics reports.

When you first start using it, I recommend you to create your post presets: timezones, locations, hashtags and caption templates. This will make scheduling much faster and help you save time.

The tool has an intuitive design and even beginners will find it easy to use.

Bonus: If you’re offering Instagram management you can visually plan Instagram grids, add caption templates and send them in a link to your client for their feedback!

  • Price:
    • FREE Plan for 15 posts
    • $15/month for 1 social set, add $5-$15 for each extra profile
  • Platforms Supported:
    • Instagram
    • Twitter
    • Facebook
    • LinkedIn
  • Main Features:
    • Visual content calendar
    • Media library

    • Instagram Analytics
    • Smily.bio for Instagram

    • Free plan is limited to 15 posts
    • A lot of features are exclusive to Instagram profiles
    • Doesn’t generate PDF analytics reports
  • Integrations: Canva

Sprout Social

SproutSocial is one of the best platforms for social media management. It’s a complete tool with scheduling, analytics, social listening, and reporting.

However, I would not recommend this tool for entry-level marketers. You need to have the volume of content, analytics knowledge and enough clients to justify the price.

Otherwise, it’s a robust platform well suited for social media agencies and brands with large marketing teams.

  • Price:
    • FREE trial (30 days)
    • $99/month for 5 social profiles
    • $149/month for 10 social profiles
    • $279/month for 10 social profiles, plus advanced features (chatbots, links tracking)

    • Instagram
    • Twitter
    • Facebook
    • LinkedIn
  • Main Features:
    • Detailed Analytics
    • Social listening tools
    • Smart inbox management
    • Social content calendar
    • Social CRM
    • Paid social ads analytics
  • Best Features:
    • Comes with high quality reports and insightful data
    • Easy to create and manage team tasks with workflows
    • Good for tracking social mentions
  • What it lacks:
    • FDoes not have a free plan
    • Expensive, and may not be suitable for those who are not interested in analytics reports
    • Lacks in Instagram management features
  • Integrations:
    • Canva, SaleSforce, MicrosoftDynamics365, ZenDesk, Dropbox and more.

Hootsuite

Hootsuite’s superpower is in its dashboard. With Hootsuite, you can create separate dashboards for each of your clients and add “streams” of all the different social media platforms you manage.

This allows you to track posts across platforms and compare their outreach.

Besides that, their plans are priced fairly and you can choose a price tier to match your small businesses and large marketing agencies.

The main con is that initial set-up can take some time as you need to create dashboards, add streams, link app integrations.

So, unless you have a team and manage multiple social profiles may not be the easiest app to use.

  • Price:
    • FREE Plan and Free trial (30 days)
    • $19/month for 10 social profiles
    • $99/month for 20 social profiles
    • $599/month for 35 social profiles
  • 20+ Platforms Supported:
    • Instagram
    • Twitter
    • Facebook
    • LinkedIn
    • YouTube
    • Pinterest & more
  • Main Features:
    • Detailed Analytics
    • Social listening tools
    • Smart inbox management
    • Social content calendar
    • Social CRM
    • Paid social ads analytics
  • Best features:
    • Comes with high quality reports and insightful data
    • Gives you flexibility in managing what and how to track
    • Easy to create and manage team tasks with workflows
  • What it lacks:
    • The free plan comes with 5 posts only
    • Initial setup can be a little difficult and confusing for beginners
    • Dashboard navigation within Hootsuite can be frustrating
  • Integrations:
    • 250+ app integrations including: Canva, Trello, Slack and more.

Social Media Schedulers: Which one should you choose?

There is no right or wrong choice.

The most important thing when choosing a platform is to give it a try and see whether it helps you plan content faster with less effort.

Bonus Tip: Before you commit to a scheduling tool ask yourself these 3 questions:

  1. Do I find navigating thorough the app easy and efortless? or is it frustrating?
  2. Do I find the features useful for me? This will depand on whether you’re focusing on scheduling only or do you provide analytics reports to your clients.
  3. Do I have the budget and enough clients to justify the monthly price?

With that said my advice is to sign up for the free trials! Make use of them before deciding which social media scheduler to use in your agency.
